Map

Germany

In Germany we ran an education campaign to raise awareness of plastic pollution and encouraged thousands of people to reduce their plastic use

US Texas

We've provided funding to a rescue centre that helps rescue, rehabilitate and release sea turtles as well as other animals

US east coast

We’re supporting Sea Turtle Conservancy's annual Tour de Turtles which helps to raise awareness of sea turtles and the threats they face

Peruvian coast

We are funding a bycatch reduction project off the coast of Peru where early trials in an 11 boat fishery have seen the use of led lights reduce green turtle bycatch by 63% without affecting catch of target species. We are funding an extension of this project to a larger offshore fishery and if results are in line with those in the initial trial we could save the lives of up to 1,500 turtles over two years!

Europe (Greece)

We've provided funding to a turtle conservation and education centre on the island of Zakynthos which helps to educate thousands of visitors to help protect Loggerhead turtle nests on the islands

Europe (Turkey)

We supported the release of a young green turtle stranded on the Turkish coast

United Kingdom

We have funded and supported the release of rescued turtles found around the UK coast

United Kingdom (Poole)

From our Head Office in Poole we are providing funding for research to better understand the impact of plastic pollution on sea turtles.

Australia

We have funded satellite tags for rescued and released turtles to help understand more about these animals and how to protect them

Australia

We have funded a project help reduce turtle bycatch in crab traps off the NSW coast

New Zealand

We have supported the rescue and release of turtles found stranded around the NZ coast

Busan

With SEA LIFE Aquariums in Asia we run beach cleans to help remove plastic and other litter from the marine environment
